While exploring the vast map of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will get to meet a mysterious group called the Order of the Ancients. You will chase and later be chased by the Order of the Ancients. To get rid of them, you will have to take them down one by one. Unlike other enemies in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, killing members of the Order of Ancients will need you to have enough information about them.

Fortunately, we have discovered a couple of clues and hints about their whereabouts and weaknesses. One of the strongest members that you will have to take down is Gifle, the Ash Spear. Notably, you can only kill the Ash Spear if you have reached level 55.

Where to find all the Clues for Gifle – The Ash Spear

Before encountering the Ash Spear, you will have to discover three clues to get the exact location of Gifle in AC Valhalla.

Wuffa

You can find the Order of the Ancient, Oil Order and Adze Order in many ways. However, to track this member of the group, you will have to find a Zealot named Wuffa first. You can find her in the northwest of the Forest Hideout, halfway to Ractborough.

Notably, she is a friend to the Ash Spear and she enjoys killing people. She might be difficult to defeat but you can kill her if you know how to kill Zealot in AC Valhalla. Once you kill her, you will get a clue on her body, leading you to the next clue.

Ruined Tower

After taking down Wuffa, you have to head toward the Roman tower, which is located in the north of Northwich, East Anglia. If you take a look around the tower, you will find a wooden cart near the front. There, you will find the second clue.

Bandit Camp

The next place where you will have to head is a specific bandit camp, which is also located in East Anglia. Upon investigating this camp, you will come across a wooden table with a rolled note sitting on it.

When you collect the third and last clue, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Order member Palatinus Gifle will be revealed to you. The last thing you need to do is to find and kill Gifle, which can be found in a hideout in Thetford’s Forest.

Once you have managed to kill Gifle, the Ash Spear, you will be able to move on to the next target in AC Valhalla.

That’s everything you need to know about how to find and kill the Ash Spear in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
