So let us learn about the other 3 mountain biomes that are Stony Peaks, Jagged peaks, & Frozen peaks in Minecraft 1.18 and where you can find them.
Where to Find Stony Peaks, Jagged Peaks, and Frozen Peaks in Minecraft 1.18
You can find them all in mountains and use the below characteristics to identify the different peaks.
- Stony Peaks: You can recognize this biome by its blocks. It generates in the mountain peaks and is covered in strips of calcite, gravel, and stone. These generate in the areas that have warm temperatures like savannas and jungles. As this is a sub-biome of a mountain, you can find Pillager outposts generate here. You won’t find any animals spawning in this biome.
- Jagged Peaks: Another sub-biome of a mountain peak is the Jagged peaks. You can identify it by snow, stone, and snow blocks. This biome generates in areas that have low temperatures, and usually are cold and snowy. You can find the land to be more sharp and rugged. The animals that spawn here are goats and like the previous biome, you can find Pillager outposts here.
- Frozen Peaks: As the name suggests you can expect this biome to be frozen. Hence you can easily find it covered in a lot of ice, snow, packed ice, and snow blocks. Just like Jagged Peaks, Frozen peaks also generate in the mountain peaks that have a lot of snow, are cold, and are low in temperature. Like the previous peaks, you can find Pillager outposts in Frozen Peaks. And here too you can find goats.
