Windows 10 build 10041 has rolled out to Windows Insider via the Fast ring and it includes a number of new features and changes that further improves the operating system.

In build 10041, you can expect to find an updated Start menu with transparency and various tweaks, such as drag apps from the “All Apps” list to the Live Tiles section, and there are folder menus. File Explorer, Documents, and Settings are permanently infused on top the “Most used” list of apps, and a lot more.

Microsoft has updated the Task View, there are UI changes, and now users can drag an app to different virtual desktops, and many tweaks.

There is a new lock screen experience, new icons, and an updated Settings app with a bunch of new sections. Users can now pin their favorite settings to the Start menu, “Related settings” can help you to further configure the operating system, and Windows Defender settings are now found in the Settings app.

If you haven’t updated your Windows 10 preview or you’re just planning to wait until Microsoft releases the operating system later this summer, it doesn’t mean you can’t see all the things that are new, as such I created a video demonstrating all the new features and changes.

Enjoy!
