Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 19587 for devices enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the preview number 11 releasing for testers, and it’s a small minor updates with various improvements expected to arrive in future updates.

Windows 10 build 19587, according to the company, when you have muted the system volume, the volume won’t unmute when using the hardware keyboard volume keys until you raise the volume (or manually unmute). As part of the Narrator improvements, the experience now uses a more friendly string to describe the audio output in the Select playback device dropdown menu in the volume flyout.

In addition, Narrator can now announce more details in the Add Bluetooth or other devices dialog in the Settings app when first opened.

This flight also fixes issues with the Microsoft Defender Scan icon from the File Explorer context menu. Addresses crashing problems with the Settings app, files not opening with legacy desktop apps from File Explorer, and problems with User tab in Task Manager.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 19587, the update is available immediately through the Fast ring. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.
