Only a few days after Microsoft announced that the universal Office apps will be arriving to Windows 10 for phones at the end of April, a new build of the mobile operating system has emerged onto the internet already running one of the new Office apps. A new video from YouTube shows the new changes included Windows 10 for phones build 12544.

The video shows that in build 12544 users have to access the Store (beta) to download and install Word. In the video Word is shown working in portrait and landscape mode with the new hamburger menu button on the top-left corner of the screen. This version of Word for phones includes rich text editing features sitting at the bottom of the screen. The app looks very similar to the version for the desktop, but adapted for smaller devices.

The YouTube video also shows some improvements in the Personalization settings, Project Spartan for phones, and Store (beta).
