Although, Windows 10 offers many new features, it’s not a complete operating system. For example, a lot of users have been complaining that they don’t like the title bar without an accent color. And sure enough, Microsoft is hearing the feedback loud and clear and in its first preview of Windows 10 (build 10525) after the official launch the company is addressing this issue.

Now, if you go to Settings > Personalization > Colors, you can switch to the On position the pill switch on the “Show color on Start, taskbar, and action center” to disable the dark theme to enable the accent color on the title bar from background or from any color you choose.

Keep in mind that if you are not seeing the tittle bar changing colors, you’re probably still using the dark theme. In the case, it’s not working for you, try enable and disable the “Show color on Start, taskbar, and action center” a couple of times to help the settings to flow.

If you want to change the title bar color, while in the Settings app, under “Automatically pick an accent color from my background”, turn off the option and pick the color you like.

While this is a welcome addition to Windows 10, it feels incomplete, as many users will agree that we still want to see Microsoft adding transparency and blur to the title bar.
