Today is the day Insiders will start seeing popup tips on Windows 10. Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore recently sent a few Tweets announcing that “soft landing” popup are going to start appearing on Windows 10 PCs today. As I understand you will start getting personalized tips to help you discover more new features on the new operating system.

So, this means that if you still haven’t used Cortana, you’ll probably see a popup notification telling you that the feature existing and how to start using it, and the same for other features in the new operating system. Of course, Microsoft is now testing the service to avoid issues at launch, as such chances are that you’ll see a few tips on things that you already know – so don’t judge the tips early on.

The tips are personal, service-driven & designed to skip stuff you already know. However… today and this next few week(s)…

However…Today/next few weeks, u may see tips for features you’ve already used. Don’t worry it won’t work that way in final build. Enjoy!

This is actually a good feature that will help Microsoft to avoid what happened with Windows 8, as you probably remember that the company changed things so much that people couldn’t get very productive initially.
