Microsoft releases Windows 10 build 9926 (January Technical Preview) to Windows Insider program, users registered to the program can now download the new bits through the Fast and Slow right of updates. Simultaneously the company is also making available the ISO files for build 9926.
Microsoft also notes that the gap between 9879 and 9926 is the longest users will see, because of the holidays and because the Windows team needed to stabilize the code and add more features. From now and forward, the software maker says that it will release new build faster.
Build 9926 is the so called Windows 10 January Technical Preview and it’s the build that includes Cortana, Continuum, improved Action Center, and a bunch of other features.
Upgrading to the new build is really straightforward, you can download the ISO files from the links below to perform a clean install of the operating system, or simply follow the steps below to update Windows 10 build 9879:

Click Preview Builds
Click on the Check now
Then click Download now to install build 9926
