Windows 10 Mobile build 10136 will roll out to the Fast ring of updates on June 16th. The announcement was made by Gabriel Aul, Microsoft’s head of the Windows Insider program. The new preview for mobile devices will include a number of new features and enhancements, but there are not any official details of the new changes.

It all sounds good, but there is one problem, because there is an upgrade bug in Windows 10 Mobile build 10080, Insiders wanting to upgrade will need to reset to Windows Phone 8.1, before upgrading to Windows 10 build 10136.

@GabeAul However – we now have to re-stage the hops from supported phones and that will take us some time, about 24hrs.

Those users who don’t want to go through the reset process, can continue to be on build 10080 until Microsoft fixes the problem and rolls out the build to Insiders.

Remember the best way is to use the Windows Phone Reset Tool to go back to the Windows Phone 8.1. Here are the instructions to perform this task.

The company isn’t talking about any of the new changes, but it will probably be aligned with the changes we previously saw included in the video highlighting the new changes on build 10134.
