Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 is now rolling out to the Slow ring of update. Today, July 7th, Microsoft has announced that it’s currently preview for mobile devices, which was only available through the Fast ring, now is available via the Slow ring.

This is a good news for those Windows Phone users who are very cautious to only install the most stable build of the mobile operating system.

Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 packs a number of changes and improvements, including updates to the user interface, Cortana, and updated apps. You can read about the changes in my previous write-up when Microsoft rolled out build 10149 to the Fast ring of updates, as the updated build only includes bug fixes and nothing else.

According to Microsoft the new preview for the mobile version of the operating system should feel faster, stable, and overall more polished. However, as always this is a pre-release version, as such it’s not a build ready for the daily use.

Although, Windows 10 Mobile is already coming together, Microsoft won’t be releasing it at the same time with Windows 10 for PCs. The mobile version of Windows 10 will be arriving sometime in September.
