Only days after releasing a PC and Mobile preview of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 14342 to the Slow ring, and Windows 10 Mobile receives a minor update to build 14342.1003 in the Fast ring. The company is even making available cumulative update (KB3158988) for the latest pre-release of the operating system with some important fixes.

Although build 14342 for PC in the Slow ring doesn’t bring any significant changes, it’ll give an opportunity for Insiders in the Slow ring to check out all the new features coming in the Anniversary Update. It also signals that the operating system is slowly getting stable for the July release.

In addition, Microsoft is releasing a new cumulative update (KB3158988) that fixes an issues closing Microsoft Edge and with extensions. The update also fixes a number of bugs causing blue screen of death.

Windows 10 Mobile build 14342.1003 is rolling out to phones in the Fast ring. The new preview is identical to the previous release, but it includes additional fixes to improve reliability on devices running the operating system.

The company also notes the known issue that causes devices to get stuck installing the latest build at the Windows logo screen. Microsoft advices users to wait between 30 to 40 minutes to allow the phone to complete the installation or to force reboot the device using the Power + Volume Down buttons combination.

If your computer is enrolled in the Fast ring of updates, you don’t need to do anything else, as you’re running the latest version of Windows 10. Those in the Slow ring build 14342 will arrive soon automatically, but you can always go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update to force the download.

Update, May 25, 2016: Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 Mobile build 14342.1004 to the Fast ring of updates, but it’s exactly the same as build 14342.1003 with the difference that it also includes fixes for battery life problems found in some devices, including the Lumia 930 and Lumia 929, and others which was causing heating issues.

Update, May 31, 2016: Microsoft is now releasing Windows 10 Mobile build 14342.1004 Windows Insiders in the Slow ring.
