Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703). In this quality update that is described as KB4049370, the company is only addressing a particular black screen issue with the Surface Laptop.

KB4049370 doesn’t offer any new improvements or changes, but it bumps the version number of Windows 10 to build 15063.675. Also, the company warns of known issues installing this update, but it’s offering different workarounds until there are permanent solutions.

If you’re still running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) or the November Update (version 1511), Microsoft is pushing out update KB4052231 and KB4052232 respectively to fix an issue “where applications based on the Microsoft JET Database Engine (Microsoft Access 2007 and older or non-Microsoft applications) fail when creating or opening Microsoft Excel .xls files. The error message is, “Unexpected error from external database driver. (Microsoft JET Database Engine).””
