Although Microsoft is officially launching Windows 10 version 2004, May 2020 Update, towards the end of May, the company is making the new Windows 10 ISO files for the final version available through the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN).
MSDN is a service aimed for developers, testers, and network administrators, and if you happen to have a subscription, starting May 12, you can download the ISO files for the consumer and server version of the Windows 10 May 2020 Update to perform an in-place upgrade or a clean installation with the latest feature update.
How to download Windows 10 version 2004 ISO using MSDN
To download the Windows 10 ISO directly from MSDN, use these steps:
- Open the MSDN portal.
- Sign-in with your subscription credentials.
- Click the Download tab.
- Search for Windows 10 (consumer editions), version 2004.
- Click the Download button.
Once you complete the steps, you can double-click the file to mount the ISO, and running the Setup.exe file will start the in-place upgrade process.
