Microsoft has finally introduced Windows 11, and alongside the new UI design changes and new features around productivity, security, and gaming, the OS also has the best default wallpapers. And you can now download them to set them as desktop backgrounds on Windows 10 or any other version.
Windows 11 ships with six different themes, including Windows light and dark, Glow, Captured Motion, Sunrise, and Flow, and each one include one or multiple wallpapers.
The default theme is the Windows light, which includes petals from a flower or pieces of fabric with different waves in blue with a light or dark background depending on the theme.
Then, the Glow theme has four images of a glowing circular shape resembling a bubble with different background colors.
Flow is similar to the system default themes, but they feature different colors.
Capture Motion, as the name implies, includes four images that capture elements in the air with a dark background.
Finally, there is the Sunrise theme that also includes four background images showing sunrise from different landscapes.
If you want to download the images to set them as background on your computer, you can get them all from the WallpaperHub website in any resolution, including 4K, 1080p, mobile format, ultrawide, and the perfect size for Surface devices.
If you have Windows 11 already installed on your device, the path to find all these wallpapers is %SystemRoot%\web\wallpaper. You can also watch the process in this YouTube video.
