Windows 8.1 Update is finally here and Microsoft will start rolling out the update today, April 8th, to users via Windows Update. This time around the company is adding tons of new tweaks to enhance productivity and navigation using the keyboard and mouse. The tweaks are substantial, as such Microsoft is making available for download the “Windows 8.1 Update Power User Guide for Business” to get you started with all you need to know.
The user guide focus more than anything to users without touch-enabled devices by offering different ways to navigate the operating system using the keyboard and mouse. But the 20 pages PDF file also points out many features you can use with touch.
Although the guide is aimed for businesses, the information is very useful for anyone updating their system. In the download center page Microsoft details that this is a 20 pages brochure-type guide for users wanting to learn the advanced features in Windows 8.1, such as Task Manager, Taskbar customization, Internet Explorer 11, Mobility Center, Miracast, File Explorer, Windows To Go, and much more.
