Method 1: Give Administrative Permissions in Group Membership

1.Press Windows Key + R then type “netplwiz” (without quote) and hit Enter to open User Account Settings.

2.From the list of user account select the one which is giving the error.

3.After-Highlighting the user click Properties.

4.Now in the new window that open switch to Group Membership tab.

5.You will see three options there namely: Standard, Administrator and other. Make sure to select the checkbox next to Administrator and click Apply followed by OK.

6.This will grant you the complete access to save or change file permissions in Windows 10 PC to modify all the files and folder with the Administrator permissions.

Method 4: Format the drive as NTFS

Make sure not to format the drive containing Windows as it will remove everything from the drive.

1.One Windows File Explorer by pressing Windows Key + E and navigate to This PC.

2.Select the drive which is experiencing the issue and then right-click select Format.

Note: Make sure you don’t select Local Disk (C:) as this contains Windows.

3.Next, select NTFS (default) file system from the list.

4.Click to select the Quick Format check box and then click Start.

5.Close everything and again try to save the file on the desired location.
